About SFTT and Current Foundation Objectives

SOLDIERS FOR THE TRUTH is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION – strictly apolitical/non-partisan - that annually files compliance reports to the Federal government available for inspection upon request. All contributions to SFTT are tax exempt and used to fund the following foundation objectives:

• Investigations of systemic failures in EQUIPMENT that cause unnecessary deaths or casualties.
  
  
• Reporting Our Findings concerning these failings to Congress, the Media and the Public via both direct contact and an ongoing information campaign.
  
  
• Simultaneous Website Support via our cyber magazine, DEFENSEWATCH, to inform and educate the public of our findings as well as other actions and services. The website also provides a link where military men and women can share their experiences and alert SFTT of systemic failures they personally encounter on the battlefield—yielding a broad range of candid, unfiltered observations.
  
  
• Networking to connect people and entities who volunteer service to the Foundation, such as the growing number of concerned parents, grandparents and mates of men and women in uniform who recognize even more viscerally the urgency in fulfilling the Foundation’s mission. We expect that a committee we’re in the process of establishing, FATHERS FOR THE TRUTH, will lead the way.
  
  
• The BASIC FIVE, a critical program to fully evaluate the performance of basic equipment issued to frontline troops— specifically the body armor, helmet/helmet liner, rifle, side arm and footwear—with regard to how it affects our warriors’ survivability on the battlefield. Experts will be recruited to recommend best available in each category as well as new products to further enhance the FRONTLINE TROOPS’ chances of survival. Objective testing will also be utilized as necessary.
